Junior Achievement

Thank you, Kiwanis Club of Belleville, for supporting Junior Achievement Programs in our area.  Your generous donation of $1000 is very much appreciated.  Special thanks to PP Kiwanian Brian Mitchell for presenting the Dollars With Sense  programs to Grade 7 students at Grafton Public School and Murray Centennial Public School.

Your investment has made it possible for students to start understanding our economy and to reflect on the advantage of remaining in school to acquire the knowledge, attitudes and skills needed for career success.

Junior Achievement is a non-profit youth organization founded in 1919  and works with local businesses and organizations to present programs on financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship to students from Grade 1 through high school.  The programs are delivered by more than 178,000 volunteers, JA Worldwide reaches 10.6 million students in 117 countries.

JA is the successful link between education and the business world, giving young people confidence and the knowledge they need to define personal success, enhance their workforce readiness and pursue their dreams.
